This park is relaxing and very peaceful. It’s a nice escape from city life. Nature lovers will enjoy this 56 acre park which is a nice break from the theme park. It includes both shaded areas beneath tall oak trees, and open sunny areas. There is a children’s playground in dense shade, near the parking area. There are resident peacocks roaming around on the grassy area and in the adjacent wooded area. It is adjacent to Lake Apopka with beautiful views, open grassy areas, a covered pavilion with picnic benches, and restrooms. There are signs showing birds and wildlife that are common in the area. You might see great blue herons, great egrets, hawks, and a range of other species. Magnolia Park has access to a wildlife trail, appropriate for hiking or riding bicycles. You will find the sites spacious offering ample foliage so you have a level of privacy and seclusion from your neighbors. When you visit this park, you will feel like you’re entering a different world.
